The beach opens at daylight and closes at dark. Parents must watch their children at all times, and there is no swimming across the lake permitted.
NO LIFEGUARD is on duty, so guests must swim at their own risk. The Whippoorwill Lake Campground Resort is not responsible for any accidents, so please be safe.
ADMISSION: $5 per person daily
Free to all campers!
Basketball, volleyball and horse shoes are avaialbe at the office at no charge.
Paddle boats may be rented for $8 per hour. Take a spin around the lake, get some sun and great exercise!
Sorry, pets are not allowed on the beach or in the Pavilion. |

Fishing is free with paid campsite, and only $10 per day for adults, $5 per day for kids age 10 and under. Children age 5 and under are free!
Bait is available for purchase at the General Store, and no outside minnows are allowed. Boats are permitted, but no gas motors. Fishing is premitted only in designated areas.

5 Crappie (1 lb.)
2 Bass (18" min. length)
2 Catfish (24" min. length)

The office and General Store are open from 8 am to 9 pm weekdays, and to 10 pm on weekends. We have a variety of supplies such as ice, ice cream, pizza, sandwiches, snacks, chips, drinks, firewood, bait, charcoal, and misc. camping supplies.
Our new SUGAR SHACK concession hours are Fri 11 am to 9 pm, Sat 8 am to 9 pm, Sun 8 am to 5 pm. We serve breakfast items, drinks, hot dogs, hamburgers, fries and other favorites!
4-Wheelers, ATVs or G0-Carts are not permitted in the park. Golf carts and bicycles welcome! No alcohol is allowed on the beach or in the pavilion area. Pets are allowed in the park for a $5 daily fee per pet – and must be leashed at all times.
No littering please. We ask that our guests be respectful to others and the park grounds. Please follow all posted rules. Rules and fees are subject to change without notice. |
