Campers at Whippoorwill Lake can choose from 120 RV sites with water and electrical hookups. There are 6 sites with 50 amp hookups, all sites have 30 amp hookups. If you require a 50 amp hookup, please specify in the "special requirements" field when making online reservations.

Tent campers may choose from 31 sites with electric, or an unlimited number of sites in more secluded primitive camping areas. We permit tent campers to select their own spot almost anywhere they want in the primitive camping areas, so you can get close to the lake!

There is a bathhouse with shower facilities centrally located on the grounds, and all sites have access to water.

Campers may fish or swim in the lake. Campfires are allowed and firewood is available on site. Outside wood is allowed with $5 campfire cleanup fee. Picnic tables are located at each site. Dump station for RVs is available.

Visitors (extra guests) must pay admission fee. No ATVs, motorbikes or go-carts are allowed in the facility. Pets are allowed, but must be on a leash at campsites and on nature trails. No pets are allowed on the beach or in picnic areas. Campground Owners are on the premises 24 hours a day.

Campground hours are 8 am to 10 pm weekdays, and 8 am to 11 pm weekends. The beach opens at daylight and closes at dark.
